Hi everyone! In this week's edition of Kavanah Media's Weekly Marketing Rundown we will discuss using Google's NotebookLM to make podcasts, Bluesky's user base growth, Google Discover and more.
Google’s NotebookLM offers a creative way to turn written content into podcasts. By adding sources like articles or web pages to your notebook, you can use prompts to create structured scripts on a topic of your choice. With the Audio Overview feature, NotebookLM converts these scripts into audio summaries that can be downloaded and used as podcast episodes.
For mission teams, this tool could simplify creating audio content for outreach. Teams could quickly produce podcasts in multiple languages, sharing Gospel messages, Bible study topics, or testimonies with a broader audience. This is especially useful in areas where audio is a preferred medium due to literacy or cultural preferences.

Bluesky, a decentralized social media platform, has reached 20 million users. Known for its focus on privacy and independence from traditional tech companies, Bluesky offers users an alternative to platforms like Twitter.
For mission teams, depending on the usage base in a given context, Bluesky could serve as another platform for digital engagement. Its decentralized nature might also be advantageous for sharing sensitive content in regions with heavy internet censorship, providing an additional tool for digital outreach and connection.

Google Discover is now showing Youtube video citations more in it's AI-generated summaries, giving users quick insights without needing to watch the entire video. These overviews aim to improve accessibility and help users decide if a video meets their interests. The feature is part of Google’s broader efforts to integrate AI into its platforms.
For mission teams, this feature could increase visibility for outreach videos, especially on Youtube, as Google Discover references may draw more viewers. Teams should ensure their video titles, descriptions, and content align well with their intended message, as these details could influence how these references are generated and understood.
