The UK is launching a new online fraud charter, to combat scams and other fraudulent online activity. 11 major tech companies are set to sign, a few of which are TikTok and YouTube. The charter will ask the companies who sign to introduce several systems to better protect users, including new advertiser verification and quick removal of fraudulent content.
